NJ VACCINE CODE and SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

• New Jersey Administrative Code - N.J.A.C 8:57 - Communicable Diseases


New Jersey Administrative Code regarding communicable diseases and the related vaccine policies is established by the Department of Health, under direct authority of the NJ Governor. This code is approved by the Public Health Council, an advisory council to the NJ Department of Health. Changes to this code, including the school immunization schedule are not handled by the NJ Legislature.
